Welcome to Christopher Creek
The Christopher Creek Loop’s history is tied to both the development of the area and the construction of the Mogollon Rim’s four-lane bypass. Originally, Highway 260 ran directly through Christopher Creek. The bypass construction in the 2000s bypassed the creek, leaving a two-mile loop as a connection between the highway and the creek area. This loop then became a Gila County public right-of-way, providing access to residential areas like See Canyon Homes, The Brooks, and Hunter Creek.
